GENERAL SERVER RULES AND REGULATIONS
Terms of Service ("TOS", "Terms" or "Agreement")
This Term of Service ("TOS", "Terms" or "Agreement") governs the use of the website, Discord server, game, and all services, features, and content offered by Mu Anarnova. By creating an account, accessing, or using any of our services, you declare that you have read, understood, and agree to fully comply with this TOS.
The most recent version of this TOS is always available on the official Mu Anarnova website. It is the user's obligation to regularly review this agreement to stay updated on any changes.
1.1. Administrative Team:
Mu Anarnova administration is composed of Brazilian volunteers, legally capable, without any personal or professional link with Webzen, the original developer of Mu Online. Mu Anarnova is a private, independent server, with no official relationship to the game's creator company.
1.2. Administration Functions:
The administrative team is responsible for managing and ensuring the functioning of the server in its entirety, including technical issues, financial support, community support, and other aspects. Team intervention will only occur when necessary or possible.
1.3. Account Management:
By creating an account on Mu Anarnova, the user grants the administration the right to manage the created account, including altering registration data that is not in compliance with server rules or temporarily or permanently suspending the account in cases of rule violation. However, the administration does not have the right to use the email, name, password, or IP address provided during registration for purposes external to the server.
1.4. Rights of the Suspended Player:
Players who are suspended or banned have the right to appeal once for review of the penalty. The administration will analyze the case and decide if the penalty was correctly applied.

1.5. Maintenance and Shutdowns:
Despite the game's proposal to run 24 hours a day, the Mu Anarnova team may shut down the servers to perform maintenance deemed necessary for the proper functioning of the equipment and programs. This maintenance may or may not be scheduled in advance, varying according to the needs required by technical adjustments.
1.6. Account Ownership:
All accounts, characters, items, and virtual currencies existing on Mu Anarnova are the exclusive property of the administration. Players only possess the right to use these assets within the game, according to the rules established on the server. The administrative team reserves the right to manage, modify, or remove accounts, characters, items, and currency whenever necessary for the balance and maintenance of the game.
1.7. Extension of Penalties:
Penalties applied on Mu Anarnova may be extended to all official server platforms if the player uses these means to violate the rules. This includes, but is not limited to: Advertising competing servers; Harassment, offenses, or disrespect towards players and administrators; Causing disturbances, inciting discord, or toxic behavior; Any other act that compromises the community's healthy environment. The player will have the right to appeal once to request a review of the penalty, with the final decision being the exclusive competence of the administration.
2.1. Player Responsibility:
The security of access credentials to Mu Anarnova is the sole responsibility of the player. The administration is not responsible for passwords, usernames, or any other login data that may be compromised. Players must ensure their access information is used exclusively on the official Mu Anarnova website and never shared with third parties.
2.2. Account Sharing:
The sharing of accounts, passwords, or any personal information is the sole responsibility of the user. The administration will not provide support for problems resulting from this type of practice, including loss of items, undue access, and bans resulting from infractions committed by third parties who have gained access to the account.
2.3. Login to Other Accounts:
It is **strictly forbidden** to access or attempt to access accounts not previously created by you. The Mu Anarnova system registers the hardware number of the device used for login, and should an unduly accessed account be banned, the device may also be **permanently blocked**, regardless of the player's personal account status.
2.4. Use of Proxy and Third-Party Programs:
Users who use proxy, VPN, hide IP, or any other third-party program to mask their identity will not receive support from the administration in case of technical or security problems.
2.5. Newsletter:
By registering on Mu Anarnova, the user automatically agrees to receive the official server newsletter, which may be sent periodically with information about updates, events, and other news.
2.6. Character and Guild Names:
Character and guild names must follow appropriate guidelines and cannot contain:
The administration reserves the right to change or delete names that violate these guidelines without prior notice.
2.7. Account Protection:
It is recommended that players change their passwords every 14 days, avoid using public computers or unknown internet networks, keep their security software updated, and never share their login information.
2.8. Loss of Items and Currency:
The Mu Anarnova administration will not intervene in cases of loss of virtual items or currency (WCoins/GoblinPoints) due to player imprudence. There will be no reimbursement in cases of loss, theft, or fraudulent negotiations carried out within the game. Furthermore, if an item belonging to a player is in the possession of another user whose account is banned, there will be no refund or return of the confiscated items.
2.9. Connection Issues (No Guarantee):
Mu Anarnova is an online service offered "**as is**," without guarantee of uninterrupted or error-free operation. The administration is not responsible for technical problems arising from the user's connection. The player is responsible for evaluating their internet conditions before performing actions, including, but not limited to:
2.10. Knowledge of the Rules:
By registering on Mu Anarnova, the user declares to be aware of and agree with all terms and rules in force on the server. **Ignorance of the rules will not be accepted as justification** for requesting unblocks, refunds, or reversal of penalties applied by the administration.
2.11. LOCK Security System:
To ensure greater account protection, Mu Anarnova may automatically activate the **LOCK** security system on accounts that remain inactive for a period equal to or greater than 180 consecutive days. LOCK prevents access to sensitive account functions, requiring a 6-digit numeric code to unlock.

Should the player forget the access code, they must use the official website panel to reset their password.
---3.1. Use of Chat and Social Media:
It is strictly forbidden to use the in-game chat, Discord text channels, or any other platform managed by Mu Anarnova for the dissemination of **hate speech, xenophobia, racism, pornographic content, personal injury, harassment, threats**, incitement to violence, or any other form of intolerance and toxic behavior. The penalty for breaching this term is the **temporary or permanent suspension** of the player across all Mu Anarnova platforms.
3.2. Advertising Other Servers:
The advertising of other private Mu Online servers within Mu Anarnova or official communication platforms belonging to it is **intolerable**. Penalty: temporary or permanent suspension.
3.3. Special Characters:
The use of special characters (ASCII, HTML, etc.) that make reading difficult in the chat is prohibited. Penalty: temporary or permanent suspension.
3.4. Impersonating Administrators:
It is forbidden to impersonate a Mu Anarnova administrator or use names that may be confused with administrators and team members (e.g., GM-xxx, ADM-xxx). Penalty: temporary or permanent suspension.
3.5. Impeding Partners:
It is expressly forbidden to attempt to impede any Mu Anarnova partner from performing common tasks in the game while exercising their function as a partner. Penalty: temporary or permanent suspension.
3.6. Denigrating Partner Image:
It is expressly forbidden to attempt to denigrate the image of any Mu Anarnova partner in the exercise of their function through in-game chat or managed communication platforms. Penalty: temporary or permanent suspension.
3.7. Disseminating False Information:
Disseminating false, unfounded information and/or rumors about the server, partners, and/or its administrators with the intent to denigrate the image of those involved or disrupt the proper functioning of the services offered in the game is prohibited. Penalty: temporary or permanent suspension.
3.8. Falsification of Evidence:
It is prohibited to falsify, tamper with, or forge evidence (screenshots, audio, among others) with the intent to use it to deceive those responsible for the game and force/cause unjust and unnecessary punishments against someone. Penalty: temporary or permanent suspension.
3.9. Impeding Gameplay:
It is forbidden to subject third parties to circumstances that prevent them from fully enjoying the events and activities of the game, **except for the use of MuHelper with the intent to gain experience**. This rule does not apply on occasions where PvP is inherent (e.g., Castle Siege) or if the player is AFK. Penalty: temporary or permanent suspension.
3.10. Advertising Trade Groups:
All and any advertising of unofficial trade groups or communities through the official Mu Anarnova communication platforms is prohibited. Penalty: temporary or permanent suspension.
3.11. Charging Fees or VIP:
It is **expressly forbidden** for any player to charge fees, VIP, or any other type of value from other players so that they can enjoy the game content. Penalty: temporary or permanent suspension.
3.12. Provocations and Retaliations:
It is forbidden to provoke, harass, or instigate another player with the aim of causing them to lose patience and react inappropriately. Should a player be identified as responsible for persistent provocations, as well as the one who retaliates inappropriately, **both will be penalized**. Penalty: warning, temporary, or permanent suspension.
3.13. Toxic Behavior:
Any toxic behavior that may harm the game's progress, the players' experience, or the work of the Mu Anarnova administration is strictly prohibited. Penalty: warnings, temporary suspensions, or **permanent banishment**.
3.14. Use of Fake Accounts in Lives and Giveaways:
It is expressly forbidden to use fake accounts (fakes, smurfs, multiple accounts) to gain undue advantages in giveaways, prizes, interactions, and events held in official Mu Anarnova live streams or by partners on Twitch or other streaming platforms. Penalty: temporary or permanent suspension.
4.1. Trade of Accounts and Items (Outside the Game/Server):
Any attempt to transfer, exchange, or negotiate Mu Anarnova accounts, items, or currency for **another game, server, or platform not belonging to Mu Anarnova** is **strictly prohibited**. Penalty: temporary or permanent suspension of the account(s) involved.
4.2. Ownership of Accounts and Items:
Players possess a **revocable and non-exclusive license** to use virtual goods within the game. The administration reserves the right to modify, remove, restore, or adjust any items, currency, characters, or accounts at any time, without prior notice and without obligation for compensation.
4.3. Trade for Real Money:
The purchase, sale, or exchange of items, game currency, characters, or accounts for **real money**, inside or outside the official Mu Anarnova platforms, is **strictly prohibited**. Penalty: permanent banishment.
5.1. Non-Refundable Donations:
All donations made to the server are **voluntary and non-refundable under any circumstances**. Mu Anarnova does not sell credits and only accepts voluntary contributions made by the account user. Once the donation is made, there will be no refund of the value under any circumstances.
5.2. Equality of Treatment:
All players are treated equally, regardless of whether they have made donations or not. Donors and non-donors have the same rights and duties.
5.3. Blocking Donor Accounts:
Should a player who has made donations be banned for violating Mu Anarnova rules, all items, currency, and characters linked to their account will also be blocked. There will be no restitution or transfer of the account's assets.
5.4. Refund Policy (Exceptions):
Mu Anarnova does not issue refunds, **except in cases where it is proven that the administration failed to deliver the promised reward** (credits or products). Any attempt at a fake donation, improper chargeback, or cancellation of payment after receiving credits will be considered **fraud**.
6.1. Use of Hacks and Cheats:
The use of hacks, cheats, or any other illicit resource that grants undue advantages to the player or harms the experience of other users is **strictly prohibited**. Penalty: temporary suspension or permanent banishment.
6.2. Exploitation of Bugs:
It is **strictly prohibited** to exploit flaws, bugs, or any system error to gain advantages within Mu Anarnova. Penalty: temporary suspension or permanent banishment.
6.3. Fake Guilds:
The creation and use of fake guilds to occupy spots in competitive events are prohibited. Penalty: release of the event slot and suspension of the infringing guild members for 31 days.
6.4. Alliance Limit:
Only **two guilds** are allowed to be formally allied within the game. Exceeding this limit in competitive events will result in the immediate disqualification of the infringing guild.
6.5. Pacts and Collusion Between Guilds:
Any type of pact, alliance, or informal agreement between guilds that are not officially registered as allies to manipulate the outcome of competitive events is prohibited. Penalty: the guilds involved will be penalized and prevented from participating in the next events for a period of **three weeks**.
7.1. Unforeseen Cases:
Situations not covered in these regulations will be analyzed individually by the Mu Anarnova administration, which will take the appropriate measures, including applying penalties, if necessary.
7.2. Official Information Sources:
The main information sources are **Discord and the official website**. It is the player's responsibility to verify this information before performing actions in the game. The administration is not responsible for losses resulting from the incorrect use of game tools.
7.3. Deadline for Complaints:
Infractions committed within the game can only be reported within a maximum period of **6 months** from the date of the occurrence. Complaints sent after this deadline will not be analyzed.
8.1. Ownership of Virtual Content and Disclaimer:
All content within Mu Anarnova is the exclusive property of the game administration. In case of banishment or suspension, the user **will not be entitled to any type of compensation**, whether for material or moral damages, or any other claim.
8.2. Competent Jurisdiction:
Should there be any judicial dispute, the action must be filed in the district of **Parnamirim – RN, Brazil**, this being the competent jurisdiction. The user expressly waives any other jurisdiction.
